Waldviertler goat´s milk cheese salad with poppy seeds and peppersweet chutney

Ingredients for 4 servings

360 g Waldviertler goat’s milk cheese (3 packets)
150 g Peppersweet chutney
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
4 tbsp poppy seed oil
Pinch of sugar
Salt
Pepper
1 onion
1 tsp honey
1 tbsp Waldviertler grey poppy seeds 
 

 

 

Preparation

Cut Waldviertler goat’s milk cheese into cubes. Mix apple cider vinegar, poppy seed oil, sugar, honey and salt to prepare a dressing.


Combine cheese cubes and dressing and toss well to coat. Chill for at least 20 minutes.
Peel the onion and slice into very thin rings. Arrange onion slices on a plate, distribute cheese salad on top and sprinkle with a little pepper.

 

Place Peppersweet chutney decoratively in the middle, sprinkle with poppy seeds and serve.
 

 

Preparation time:  30 min.
Level of difficulty: easy
