With over 40,000 visitors a year, it is one of Lower Austria’s top tourist attractions. How long does the guided tour at the show manufactury take?
The tour lasts around 60 minutes, including tastings.
What can I expect on the guided tour?
During your visit, you’ll be given exciting behind-the-scenes insights into our antipasti and cheese production. We also offer you the chance to get hands-on in our demonstration cheese dairy, where we’ll provide you with a vivid and informative insight into our cheese-making process. At various stations, you can sample some of the finest products from DIE KÄSEMACHER’s extensive range.
Is KÄSEMACHERWELT a suitable place to visit with children?
Yes, KÄSEMACHERWELT is an ideal day-out destination for families with children. There are hands-on stations and play areas both indoors and outdoors, ensuring a varied and exciting visit. During the school holidays, we offer special guided tours for children aged 5 and over.
Is there a restaurant on site?

Yes, KÄSEMACHERWELT is an ideal day-out destination even in bad weather, as the shop, show manufactury, restaurant and a children’s play area are all indoors. This makes it perfect whatever the weather.
Can we visit KÄSEMACHERWELT as a group?
Yes, guided tours for groups are available for groups of 20 or more. We recommend booking well in advance so that everything can be organised properly.
Can I buy or renew the NÖ-Card here?
Yes, both options are available here.
Does the NÖ-Card grant free entry?
Yes, with the NÖ-Card you get free admission, including a guided tour, once per season. This does not apply to special events and group bookings.
Can the KASKUCHL restaurant be booked for events?
Yes, the KASKUCHL restaurant can be booked for parties and events, such as weddings. We’d be happy to help you with the planning. Get in contact with us.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome in the outdoor area and in the restaurant. Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted in the shop or on guided tours of the show manufactory. On request, we’re happy to provide a sheltered, shaded spot for your four-legged friend.
How much time should I allow in total?
To make the most of your visit, you should allow around 2 to 3 hours – including the guided tour, tasting, a visit to the shop and a meal in the restaurant.
