Pancakes with strawberries and Peppersweet chocolate
Ingredients for 4 people
200 g flour
150 ml sheep’s milk (from Die Käsemacher)
1 tbsp sugar
10 g baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 bar of Peppersweet Schoki
30 ml chocolate sauce (home-made is best)
About 240 g strawberries
Whipped cream and fresh mint to garnish
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, eggs, salt and milk in a bowl.
Heat up some oil in a frying pan and pour portions of the pancake batter (about 2 – 3 tablespoons at a time) to form a large circle about three centimeters thick.
On medium heat, fry the batter until the underside is golden brown, then turn it over and fry until the other side is golden brown.
Meanwhile, cut up the "Peppersweet" Schoki into lengthwise pieces, slice the strawberries and whip the cream (if used).
Arrange several pancakes overlapping each other on a plate and garnish with chocolate sauce, strawberries, Peppersweet Schoki, whipped cream, and mint.
