Our show manufactory
The heart of KÄSEMACHERWELT in Heidenreichstein is our antipasti production site, which you can visit on a guided tour. As pioneers in the field of vegetables and fruit filled with fresh cheese, we are delighted to give you an insight into our antipasti production by showing you the careful preparation of these specialities. We also offer you the chance to get hands-on in our demonstration cheese dairy, where we’ll share fascinating facts about our cheese-making process. At various points during the tour, you can sample delicious cheese and antipasti specialties from DIE KÄSEMACHER.

For groups of 20 persons and over we offer
exclusive tours (depending on availability,
prior booking essential). The
NÖ-Card and other special rates
do not apply in connection with group tours.
Tours are also available in English and in Czech.
TIP: Combine your tour with a visit to our restaurant.
For schools and pre-school groups
We also have plenty to offer to our younger visitors. For groups of 20 or more pre-school children, we offer a cinema film and “cheese ball turning” (approx. 30 minutes). Schoolchildren can learn interesting things about cheese production and are given a quiz card at the start of their tour.

Combine your visit to the show manufactory with a meal in our KASKUCHL restaurant. At our WALDVIERTLER SCHATZKAMMER shop (next to the restaurant) you will find not only our cheese and antipasti specialities to take home with you but also regional Waldviertler products. Visit us during one of our special events and experience special culinary moments.
