This fresh cheese preparation "echter Liptauer" is traditionally made from "Brimsen" and is refined with butter and fresh vegetables (onions, gherkins, capers and bell peppers). Especially in Austria "Liptauer" is a very popular spread. It´s traditionally served at wine taverns ("Heurigen").
