Pitted Kalamata olives from Greece
Our black olives come from the region of Kalamata in the south of Greece. Ever since ancient times they are especially famous for their unique taste. Dry, hot summers and cool winters, with temperatures barely under the freezing point shape the special quality of these olives. The Kalamata olive is a violet-black, almond-shaped olive with a very smooth consistency and a fleshy and distinctive taste.
