Gold - World Cheese Award 2018/19

Out of 3,500 cheeses submitted, our "Waldviertler Smoked Cheese" was awarded the GOLD World Cheese Award 2018/19 in the category "ewes smoked cheese". 

 

For more than three decades, the recent awarding of the World Cheese Award, an international award for the best cheeses in the world, brings cheese makers, sales representatives, buyers and consumers together. This year, a record-breaking 3,500 cheeses from all over the world were submitted and judged on 2 November by an international jury of 230 experts from 29 nations.

 

The spicy, semi-solid cheese made from pasteurized sheep's milk is one of the classics in our extensive range. It convinces, above all, with its aromatic spiciness with a delicate sheep's milk flavor, its supple texture and its natural beech wood aroma.
