This soft and creamy fresh cheese from sheep´s and cow´s milk is handcrafted by longstanding tradition and one of our first products. This fresh cheese specialty from the “Waldviertel”, our home region, is especially light and mild-sourly in taste – this makes it a beloved delight especially in the summer season. At the Austrian "Heurigen" (traditional restaurants in Austria, serving wine and cold platters), this fresh cheese specialty is usually served with pumpkin seed oil and vinegar. It is a light starter but also a delicious desert whenever serving with honey, marmalade or sweet fruits.
